Originally purchased from Grands Magasins du Louvre, a historic Parisian department store, with the original price ticket on the back. Late 19th early 20th century.

Once upon a time this would have been used for gloves and hat pins, with evidence of where the pins were in the pad.

Now a wonderful place to keep cards or letters or your gloves of course.

The frame is wooden, the main body is covered in the original fabric.
