A unique piece of French Folk Art. 
This shoe last was hand carved from a branch of a tree and still retains some of the bark from said branch. 
It has been very well used for what it was intended, giving it a weathered and worn beauty. The metal sole plate still remains. There are signs of historic wood worm, however this will be treated again by us to be sure. 
This is a very unusual and decorative piece. A true one off and real conversation piece.
