This is such a lovely piece of French furniture.

Louis style, with fabulous fluted legs.

The thing that drew me to it, apart from its wonderful patina is its proportions!

From the front it looks like any other little bedside cupboard, however when you look further, it is only narrow. Wide enough to be useful but not too wide that you are going to bang your knee on it when getting out of bed.

It would also work fabulously as a side table or hall table, again. . . perfect proportions.
