These fabulous little table top drawers have been lovingly made from wood and old unused crates and most likely come from a haberdashery environment or similar, judging by the original knobs. 
This is evident if you turn over the drawers and look at the bases, you can see on one of the photos the typography from one of the crates. 
These drawers are from a definite time of make do and mend, where the maker didn’t pop down to B&Q to buy new materials they used disused things to hand. Upcycling is not a new concept! 
They are lovely and clean inside and out and would be useful for any situation. Especially a craft room or dressing room.
