1930’s Vintage Raylite Egg Crate
£0.00Price
A vintage Raylite travelling egg crate, circa 1930’s.
It was used to transport fresh eggs via the railway system.
Invented by a Mr Bethell of Liverpool, who needed to get his eggs delivered to a hotel without them cracking en-route. In egg-cellent condition and still very useful, however maybe not for sending eggs by rail!
Measurements: 34.5 x 35 x 20cm high.
